Time and Time again over the last four years, people remark about what a wonderful dad I am. They express amazement on how I manage to keep my family together and produce three fairly well balanced children.

            I do not feel like a wonderful dad. I am The Father I Am because I had to be. As with many single parents my feet are firmly grounded in the Father universe and the Mother universe. Perhaps people give me a little more credit because of my gender but I am just doing what any single parent should do.

            Despite the tone of the last blog, we are a lucky family – my children are alive and functional. There are many families undergoing hardships that are significantly worse then our troubles. Poverty, disease, continued abuse, ours trouble simply makes better soap opera.

            And speaking of the soap opera, I made additions to the website. I added audio records of the hour Patricia spent with the undercover deputy, her interrogation, her domestic violence hearing with her second husband, her domestic violence hearing with his parents, and the domestic violence hearing with me and her imaginary biological father. Finally, I added the written transcript of her sentencing.

            There are several thousand pages of written records I will begin adding to the site and I will refer to these as support in blogs I write. Each day, I become more and more convinced that the stupidity of the system must be held up and children spared some of the grief we experienced.
