There Seems to be Enough Suffering Going Around Part I
I met with the Probation Office yesterday and yes, they told Patricia to file the restraining order against me.
A quick review of the facts. According to the petition Patricia filed in June, Someone named ‘Sandy’ reported to Patricia that someone named ‘Stephen’ made six calls to someplace asking for Patricia, and as I am the only Stephen Patricia knows, Patricia assumed the telephone calls were from me.
A quick review of the background. Patricia has filed three previous petitions in the
These are the facts leading up to the Probation Officer instructing Patricia to file the petition against me.
Why? Well, for several reasons, foremost amongst them is bureaucratic laziness, and the culture within the Probation and Parole Division. The other reason is some superficial evidence that I did call Patricia.
They were so convinced that I made the calls that they did not mind telling me where I allegedly called, some place called the ‘Diet’ house I believe. She said it at least twice and I strained my ears but that is what I heard.
Angelia Gieri, the director of one of the program’s Patricia is in, called this house and was informed that I had called. She did not ask if she was getting her information third hand or directly from someone who had talked to me. She did not know if it was a felon or a staff member who took the calls, or more then one person.
But it was confirmation enough to tell Patricia to file the petition.
I reminded Ms. Duran that I had asked them to contact me if they had any questions or needs during our first meeting. Ms. Duran confirmed this and said this message had been passed down, presumably to Ms. Gieri and Patricia’s probation officer, Mr. Shook.
I then asked why they had not contacted me before revictimizing the victim?
Ms. Gieri’s response was chilling, she asserted that I would have simply denied the allegations, in other words, my word was just as good as any felon’s.
I reminded Ms. Gieri that I had never been convicted of an act of domestic violence or any other crime, unlike Patricia. I also asserted that I would have cooperated fully in any investigation they would have initiated in order to insure them and Patricia that I had not called or made any attempt to contact Patricia.
This was another danger to their actions they failed to see, a danger to Patricia, the children, and I.
I believe Patricia’s persecution of me arises out of her mental illness, while others maintain Patricia’s actions arise out of anger and hate.
Here is the difference – a mentally ill Patricia believed I persecuted her to the point where she had no choice other then to seek my death. Time and time again she stated the motivation for seeking my death was the illness I created in her, an illness that would kill her unless she got some relief.
A Patricia who is not mentally ill is a cold hearted demon who acted not out of emotion, but over an extended period of time plotting my death.
Believe it or not, I prefer the second Patricia to the first one. I tell the children it is easier to deal with an intelligent evil person as opposed to a stupid evil person because the intelligent evil person knows when to quit. I believe the same can be said about mental illness.
In both cases, it is possible for Patricia to walk away from us and never bother us again, although this is more likely if her mental illness is limited. This was our hope on her return to
And now, some idiot brings me back into the picture by telling Patricia I telephoned, telephoned not once -- but six times over a few weeks. This can not but impact Patricia in a negative way.
