I wish to extend my appreciation to the 2^nd Judicial District Attorney’s office for once again failing to follow the law and keeping us informed of hearings relevant to our case in accordance with the Victims Rights Act as noticed in our case in February of 2004.

            For the third time this year, we ventured downtown and unto the fifth floor of the courthouse only to be told that the State had not even begun Patricia’s competency evaluation.  We are rescheduled for the fourth time this year – 8:30 am on April 23^rd, 2008.

I also note someone went on this blog and printed every single blog. Be and sure and email me with any questions. I imagine it is the evaluator and not some Hollywood star who realizes she could win an Oscar playing Patricia.
