It is a muddle and perhaps it is the muddle that holds us back from judging appropriately, from even attempting to clear a pathway forward...better the muddle you've come to know vs clarity that may bring with it new problems.

Wow, what a story. I strongly suspect my ex-wife, who terrorizes me, my new family, and our children - to have Borderline Personality Disorder. I lived with that mess since '95 and I don't think it's ever going to end until one of us is dead, either.

http://www.thepsychoexwife.com

Stay strong and best wishes.

Gee, big surprise. You may remember my blog a few months ago concerning the appointment of a Guardian Ad Litem in the Anna Nicole Smith case. Today, AP announced the thief presented a bill for nearly $200,000 for two weeks work.

MIAMI - The attorney who represented Anna Nicole Smith’s infant daughter in the rancorous dispute over the starlet’s body is seeking nearly $200,000 for his work.

Richard Milstein served as the court-appointed guardian ad litem for Dannielynn Hope Marshall Birkhead. He has filed paperwork in state court in Broward County seeking $198,493.98 from a trust set up in Dannielynn’s name.

I think this vindicates everything said about the Beast Machine

Unfortunately after taking both Children and the Law and Family Law, I've seen that child abuse convictions don't go nearly as far as they should. That's probably why the Machine feels comfortable deciding something like this. CPS needs WAY more than one incident of abuse in order to ever dream of terminating parental rights, so I can see why they would want to tack on as many little things as they can. I can understand your confusion though--seems a little strange that shoving an item in your child's pocket would constitute abuse, but directing a murderer to enter their home while they are sleeping is just fine. Another interesting chapter Steve!
